Mid-May marked "Tech Week" In Auckland, and North Shore was very much part of the action. The B:HIVE at Smales Farm was buzzing with entrepreneurs and “tech-xperts” at  Tech-Xpectations, Grow North Innovation District’s “school-to-scaleup Innovation Escalator”, hosted by Smales Farm, Massey Business School and ecentre, Shore Junction, and Takapuna Beach Business Association.

ecentre was a supporter of the ON Idea Pitch competition

Techweek19 kicked off on May 20 with ON: Futures in Tech and ON: Pitch, events aimed at encouraging more students to explore opportunities in technology and entrepreneurship.

Engineering students Sebastian Weaver and Connor Talbot took out the top prize for the pitch competition – which includes ecentre Sprint programme membership - for their prosthetic limb solution ProstheteX.
